Christmas Activity Book
Stop by your local library branch between Monday 13 and Thursday 23 December for a free take home craft book. Suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
Summer Reading Club 
The Summer Reading Club is open to all primary school aged children and is free to join with a library membership. Starting in December 2021, record your reading and collect incentives along the way. There are competitions to enter and prizes to win and it ends with a fabulous finale. All you need to do is register to join in the fun.
Thursday Robotics
Gympie Library – Every Thursday 3.30-4.45pm
Come down and get hands-on in one of our fun, relaxed sessions. No bookings required but space is limited.
Tinker Table
Gympie Library – Every Friday 3.30-4.30pm
Join us for a Tinker Table each Friday afternoon at the Gympie Library Makerspace from 3.30 – 4.30pm. All activities are based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths). No bookings required but space is limited.
Drones for Beginners
Gympie Library –  Thursday 2 December 3.30-4.30pm and Thursday 6 January 3.30-4.30pm 
Explore the field of geospatial science and see how drones are used in everyday life. This session is designed for beginner pilots aged 8 and above.

Drones for Intermediates  
Gympie Library –  Thursday 9 December 3.30-4.30pm and Thursday 13 January 3.30-4.30pm 
You must have attended one of our beginner drone sessions to participate in this activity. Expand your skills at our intermediate drone flying session. Learn how to code a drone to fly autonomously. This session is designed for pilots aged 8 and above.
Scrap Fabric Wreath – School Holiday Fun
Gympie Library – Monday 13 December 1-2 pm 
Join us as we make a scrap fabric wreath to hang on your door for the holidays.  Suitable for kids ages 5 – 12 years.
Christmas Tree Decorations 
Gympie Library – Wednesday 15 December 1-2 pm 
Join us as we make some Christmas-themed decorations to hang on your tree for the holidays. Suitable for kids aged 5 – 12 years.
Drone Racing
Gympie Library – Friday 17 December 2-4 pm 
Join us any time between 2-4pm as we test our skills as Drone Racers. This is a drop in session so you don’t have to book however space is limited.
