Apple debuted the HomePod in 2018, followed by the HomePod mini, which was a hit – but Apple has far greater ambitions for the house, which will begin in 2022.
An Apple-branded doorbell, drone, and security camera are currently under development.
Apple has been working on new HomePods, Apple TVs, a hybrid gaming system, and the mixed reality headgear, among other things. The following products, on the other hand, will serve as a forerunner to Apple competing with Google Nest.
Apple currently sells third-party doorbells, but eventually, Apple’s own doorbell could be on the way.
This will be a great move for Apple as it could bring LiDAR and even better camera capabilities to its doorbells and enhanced privacy features to protect the home.
From what I’m being told, it’s in the development stage and is a part of Apple’s Home projects. This device may be paired with Apple’s AR/VR products featuring “touch devices.”
Apple has been investing in drone technology over the past year and is said to be working on a drone themselves.
This device could also bring innovative new features such as LiDAR and huge camera improvements when controlling the device with an iPhone or iPad.
Unfortunately, this device won’t be coming anytime soon, and Apple is still filing patents for the technology of this device. This one is actually something Apple has been working on for a while now.

Apple will likely lead the way on privacy with these new security cameras. Apple’s many facial recognition technologies would allow notifications for when someone suspicious is on your lawn, as competing devices already offer.
